The Basket Trading Hours tool estimates the percent of the underlying constituents of the ETF whose respective markets or exchanges are currently open. Regular or continuous trading sessions across multiple global equity exchanges are calculated. Upcoming market closes and opens are determined by looking thirty minutes ahead.
Using the Tool
You can access the Basket Trading Hours tool by clicking the icon on the home page. Alternatively, you can go to the Hamburger Icon drop-down list on the left side of the platform and scroll to Advanced Analysis Tools.
Search for any basket or fund ticker symbol in the lookup field next to ETF in the top left corner. Once your search is selected, press the Apply button in the top right corner.

Market Status Highlights
- You will find statistics about the:
- Basket Overview (Country Exposure)
- Upcoming Market Closes (% of Market Closing within the Next 30 Minutes)
- Upcoming Market Opens (% of Market Opens within the Next 30 Minutes)
- Largest Exposure (Highest % of Basket within One Geographic Location)
Overview
- This pie chart shows whether or not the basket is in local market hours and what % weight will either experience local market opening or closing within the next 30 minutes.
Exchange Status
- The regular/continuous exposure to trading sessions across multiple global equity exchanges is calculated. You can check out the geographic exposure of an ETF by opening up the basket through the map at the bottom.
- You can sort the table by:
- Region
- Country Name
- Basket Weight
- Current Market Status
- +30 Minutes Market Status
- Next Change in Market Status

- Hover your cursor over any desired country on the map to see the ETF's exposure as well as when that country's market opens.
